About Us

Our Story

DailyCryptoTop was founded in late 2022, right after the FTX collapse sent shockwaves through the entire industry. Our founder, Reyansh Clapham, a former London-based fintech analyst who first bought Bitcoin in 2014 for £320, realized there was a desperate need for calm, accurate and independent reporting in the crypto space. Tired of hype-driven headlines and unchecked Telegram rumors, he assembled a small, distributed team across Europe.

We started in a tiny shared office in Berlin-Mitte, where the first articles were written on a second-hand MacBook while listening to ambient techno from the nearby club scene. The very first post was a deep-dive into the Ethereum Shanghai upgrade — it took us 14 hours of research across 7 different GitHub repos and 3 developer calls. Since then we’ve published more than 6,000 articles, grown to over 450,000 monthly readers (mostly Europe, USA and Southeast Asia) and built a reputation for being one of the few outlets that consistently cites on-chain data (Dune, Nansen, Arkham) instead of just reposting Twitter threads.

Our Mission & Core Values

We exist to empower people with clear, unbiased information in a space full of noise. Our core principles:

  • Accuracy first — every figure is double-checked, every claim has at least two independent sources
  • No hidden agendas — we disclose every sponsored post and never write paid articles disguised as journalism
  • Long-term view — we cover fundamentals (Layer-2 wars, modular blockchains, real-world adoption) more than 24-hour pumps
  • Transparency — we publish our editorial process, correction policy and even monthly traffic + revenue transparency reports (last one: €47,200 ad revenue in December 2025, 0% from paid articles) We’re based in Europe, GDPR-compliant, and our servers run on 100% renewable energy via Hetzner in Falkenstein, Germany.

Meet the Team

We are a small, fully remote team of 6 people spread across 5 countries. We have weekly syncs via Signal (voice-only, no video — old-school crypto style), and once a year we gather in person (last retreat: Porto, Portugal, October 2025 — we spent two days discussing L2 fragmentation over pastel de nata and vinho verde).

Reyansh Clapham – Founder & Chief Editor

Berlin, Germany

Former senior analyst at a London fintech boutique. Covered the 2017 ICO boom for CoinDesk as a freelancer and interviewed Vitalik Buterin in Lisbon in 2018 (still keeps the coffee receipt as a souvenir). Writes most of our long-form pieces on scaling and regulatory developments. Outside work — passionate about vintage synths and owns a rare Roland Juno-60 that he bought in Tokyo in 2019. Isabella Moreau – Lead Fact-Checker & Senior Researcher

Lyon, France

Graduated from Sciences Po Paris with a focus on digital economy. Before joining us in 2023 she worked 3 years at AFP Factuel (Agence France-Presse), where she debunked over 400 crypto-related disinformation pieces during the 2022 bear market. She once traced a viral fake “EU bans Bitcoin” story back to a Macedonian click-farm by analyzing the domain registration date (registered 3 hours before the tweet). Mateo Rossi – Lead Designer & Visual Storyteller

Milan, Italy

Graduated from Politecnico di Milano in Communication Design. Before DailyCryptoTop he designed UI for two Italian fintech startups and created the visual identity for a small Milan-based NFT project that sold out in 7 minutes. He’s the author of our signature clean charts and animated explainers. Fun fact: he once redesigned the whole site on a 12-hour train ride from Milan to Berlin because the previous designer quit overnight. Jonas Berg – Full-Stack Developer & Tech Lead

Stockholm, Sweden

Self-taught developer who started coding during the 2020 lockdown. Previously built backend infrastructure for a Swedish crypto payment gateway. He implemented our real-time price widget using WebSockets + Redis and made sure the site loads under 1.8 seconds even on 3G in rural Ukraine (he tested it himself). Elena Navarro – Growth & Strategic Partnerships

Barcelona, Spain

MBA from ESADE Business School. Previously worked in growth at a Spanish SaaS company that scaled to €8M ARR in 3 years. Elena is the one who turned our Twitter from 8k to 180k followers and secured partnerships with 12 European crypto events (last one — EthCC Brussels 2025). She once negotiated a cross-promo with a major wallet provider over tapas in Barcelona, closing the deal after the third glass of Rioja. Thomas Leclerc – SEO & Content Distribution Specialist

Brussels, Belgium

Certified Google Analytics & Search Ads expert. Before joining us he ran SEO for three Belgian e-commerce projects, taking one of them from page 5 to #1 for 47 high-volume keywords. Thomas is the wizard behind our top rankings for long-tail queries like “Ethereum restaking explained 2025”. He speaks 4 languages fluently (French, Dutch, English, German) and once drove 300 km to Luxembourg just to attend a small blockchain meetup because “networking happens offline”.
